Abstract: The article addresses the pressing issue of developing the core competencies of prospective computer installation professionals during their vocational training. It is important to note that contemporary society is distinguished by the relentless advancement of digital technologies and the growing integration of computers into all aspects of life and production. The ability to utilize information technology is becoming a crucial factor in the successful professional performance of individuals engaged in the installation of computer equipment. Furthermore, the rapid advancement of computer technology necessitates that these professionals continually enhance their abilities and gain expertise in the most recent technologies. The authors conclude that there is a significant demand in the labor market for specialists with a high level of key competencies, which exceeds the number of such individuals. Without the proper level of these competencies, it is impossible to ensure high-quality installation and maintenance of increasingly complex computer equipment. Therefore, the formation of key competencies in future computer installation specialists is one of the most urgent tasks of their professional training. Furthermore, the author underscores the significance of cultivating proficient communication abilities in prospective professionals, encompassing a command of industry-specific terminology and the capacity to articulate the outcomes of their endeavors. Such skills will facilitate their ability to function effectively in a team and interact with clients. In essence, the article underscores the pressing necessity to cultivate the pivotal competencies of prospective computer installation specialists, which are vital to guarantee their triumphant professional pursuits in the face of the accelerated advancement of digital technologies.
