Abstract: This scientific article analyzes the complex and multifaceted relationship between the history of music and nostalgia. The research aims to study the process of formation of the feeling of nostalgia in the context of the development of music throughout historical periods, its cultural heritage and impact on social changes. The article analyzes the role of music in awakening personal and collective memories, the psychological and social aspects of the phenomenon of nostalgia, as well as the continuity and change of musical traditions in modern society. The results of the research, conducted on the basis of empirical data, historical sources and theoretical approaches, serve to further understand the interaction between music and nostalgia.
