Convergence of compactly supported L p solutions of the dilation equation

Abstract: This paper discusses the existence of compact Lp solutions for the dilation equation. We use Iterative Function Schemes to analyze the solutions of the equation under different conditions. In d-dimensional space, the existence of the solution of the dilation equation and the necessary and sufficient conditions are discussed, and some conclusions are obtained.
