Type: article
Abstract: This study aimed to develop and validate an analytical method for the simultaneousestimation of Fimasartan Potassium Trihydrate and Cilnidipine in a synthetic mixture usingthe HPLC method for the treatment of hypertension. A specific, accurate, precise, robust, andcost-effective HPLC method was developed and validated for the quantitative analysis ofFimasartan Potassium Trihydrate and Cilnidipine in a fixed-dose combination. The isocraticelution was performed using a Kromasil C18 column (250 mm × 4.6 mm ID, 5 μm) at 40°C.The mobile phase consisted of Methanol: 0.1% OPA in water (80:20% v/v) at a flow rate of1.0 mL/min. The injection volume was 20 μL, and UV detection was carried out at 223 nmwith a total run time of 12 minutes. Fimasartan Potassium Trihydrate and Cilnidipine wereeluted at retention times of 3.57 min and 7.99 min, respectively.
