Abstract: pg/ml; R2: 0.99), with recovery and reproducibility within the acceptable range, and a low limit of quantification of 1 pg/ml.Discussion: Both the Mabtech Flex and Pro bovine IFN-γ ELISA assays are deemed suitable for measuring bison IFN-γ , offering flexibility depending on available resources. These findings indicate the potential of IFN-γ assays as a diagnostic tool for detecting M. bovis infection in bison populations, contributing to effort s in disease management and conservation. Conclusion:The evaluation of commercial IFN-γ ELISA assays provides valuable insights further validation is warranted to calculate the assay's cut-off value to confirm their ability to differentiate between M. bovis-infected and uninfected bison to support their role in effective disease surveillance and control measures in bison populations.
