Abstract: The creations of Gellaay's pekaan and those of the current generation all serve as channels to transmit a set of ideologies specific to Pulaar society as a whole and the Subalɓe community in particular. Even when young people integrate new technologies into their creations, they remain bearers of traditional values such as dignity, the cult of work, the sense of honor, courage...This study on a corpus, made up of some productions by Gellaay Aali Faal and some of the current generation chosen for their richness, aims to show how the pekaan follows the pace of the evolution of the digital environment without breaking this essence of utility of community speech by this reminder of the exploits of the heroes. Then the study of the deeds of our heroes establishes the mechanisms and structures of our ideal of life. Keywords : Gellaay, pekaan, cubalaagu, current generation, subalɓe.
