The Application of Governance Requirements and Its Impact on Educational Leadership in Saudi Universities

Abstract: The research aimed to determine the effect of the application of governance requirements on educational leadership in Saudi universities through an applied study at the University of Hail. The descriptive method was used, which is limited to gathering, categorizing, and analyzing data and facts, was used in the study. The study also used a questionnaire as an instrument for the study. A sample of (67) academic members was subjected to the instrument representing (49.63%) of the total community. Accordingly, the study concluded that the dimensions of governance represented in transparency and accountability had a high degree of effect and means of, respectively (3.63), (3.47). The results also revealed that the dimensions of educational leadership represented in internal operations, education, and growth, had a high degree, and means of, respectively (3.86), (3.76). Thus, it was found that there is a clear impact of the application of governance requirements on educational leadership at the University of Hail.
