Profil Literasi Matematika Dalam Menyelesaikan Soal PISA Konten Probabilitas dan Ketidakpastian Data Berdasarkan Gender

Abstract: This research is motivated by the results of the mathematics literacy scores obtained by Indonesia which experienced a decline in 2022 and the average mathematics learning outcomes of students were 75. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of mathematics literacy of grade XI DKV 2 SMK students at SMK PGRI 13 Surabaya based on gender. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The study subjects were 4 people, namely 2 male students and 2 female students who were selected based on the consideration and recommendation of mathematics teachers with the criteria of having good communication skills and seen from student grade data. Based on the results of the study, the questions given were PISA questions with probability and data uncertainty content consisting of 6 questions with different levels of difficulty. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the mathematical literacy skills of male students are superior to that of female students. Female students reached level 2 while male 1 reached level 3 and male 2 reached level 4. Keywords: Mathematical Literacy Ability, Probability and Data Uncertainty, PISA Questions. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil skor literasi matematika yang diperoleh Indonesia mengalami penurunan pada tahun 2022 serta hasil belajar matematika siswa memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 75. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui level literasi matematika siswa SMK kelas XI DKV 2 di SMK PGRI 13 Surabaya berdasarkan gender. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 4 orang, yaitu 2 orang siswa laki-laki dan 2 orang siswa perempuan yang dipilih atas pertimbangan dan rekomendasi guru matematika dengan kriteria mempunyai kemampuan komunikasinya yang baik serta dilihat dari data nilai siswa. Soal yang diberikan merupakan soal-soal PISA konten probabilitas dan ketidakpastian data yang terdiri dari 6 soal dengan tingkat kesulitan yang berbeda-beda. Simpulan yang dapat diambil dari hasil penelitian ini adalah kemampuan literasi matematika siswa laki-laki lebih unggul dibandingkan kemampuan literasi matematika siswa perempuan. Siswa perempuan mencapai level 2 sedangkan siswa laki-laki 1 mencapai level 3 dan siswa laki-laki 2 mencapai level 4.
