In order to obtain the proper health effect from physical exercise, experts recommend performing physical activity regulated in structure and magnitude to develop endurance. The purpose of the study is to experimentally verify the effectiveness of using track and field means in developing endurance in girls aged 13-14. When introducing the experimental methodology for using track and field means, we took into account the individual differences of girls aged 13-14, which are due to the following factors: physical development characteristics; physical fitness; psychological; biological; social. The experimental method of developing endurance in girls by means of track and field consisted of three stages: - the stage of creating the necessary level of general physical fitness; the stage of teaching special exercises and improving the technique of running for middle distances, running on rough terrain; the stage is aimed at achieving a certain level of special endurance, eliminating errors. The technology of the research organization consisted in the fact that the students performed tasks in separate groups, which were formed according to the current level of endurance development. Reliable advantages of using track and field means in accordance with the current level of physical fitness over traditional methods were established.
