Abstract: The wars in Gaza, Myanmar, Sudan, Ukraine and Yemen have been horrendous for civilians and children especially. More than 40 000 people have been killed in Gaza and more than 100 000 injured.1 It has been estimated that over 25 000 people will need long-term rehabilitation.1 Over 11 million people have been internally displaced in Sudan alongside a further 3.2 million who have escaped to neighbouring countries.1
