Analysis of the Labor Market and Employment Risks in the Kostroma Region

Abstract: In the modern world, the latest technologies and innovations are rapidly spreading, without which no sphere of our life can do today, therefore, one of the main tasks of modern public policy is the formation of a dynamic and effectively developing labor market that meets the needs of the economy of the Russian Federation. Based on the analysis of the current dynamics of the labor market and risks in this area, the article proves the positive influence of employment institutions on reducing threats and risks in the studied area on the example of the Kostroma region. Research methods: general scientific methods of formal logic, institutional and statistical analysis, a systematic approach and methods of economic analysis. The results obtained in the course of the study and the proposed ways to improve risk management in the field of employment can be used in the activities of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, as well as in improving the development strategy of the Kostroma region.
