Legal Forms in Agriculture With Employee Ownership: Differences and Advantages
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Research on labor productivity in agriculture, its retrospective analysis shows low growth of the indicator, the country's dependence on imports of technologies and resources, and the unilateral development of only those regions that are characterized by favorable natural conditions. Mechanisms are needed to find a balance between indicators of agricultural production intensification and indicators that ensure the continued growth of the agricultural sector. One of the factors that can give impetus to more effective agricultural development may be the development of organizational and legal forms based on the participation of the labor collective in the ownership of capital, management and distribution of business results. In the domestic economy, such enterprises can include, according to the legally defined fundamentals of their activities, agricultural production cooperatives and closed joint-stock companies of workers (national enterprises). The article examines the specifics of the activities of such enterprises, the main differences, as well as the advantages that make it possible to talk about the need for their development in agriculture.
