Current-Mode Quadrature Oscillator Simple Designs

Abstract: Simple designs of current-mode quadrature oscillators are presented in this work. The main achievement, with regards to the literature, is the minimization of the required transistor count accomplished by the utilization of a suitable lossless integration stage. The derived post-layout simulation results confirm the validity of the presented concept and show that the resulting structure has attractive characteristics in both frequency and time-domain.
