Abstract: The research tries to show how the abandonment of the mental limit first arises as a philosophical method. This is important to understand Leonardo Polo’s main philosophical proposal. For this purpose, Polo’s main criticisms of Hegel are first pointed out. Then, chapter 3 of The Access to Being is analysed in order to understand how the birth of the abandonment of the mental limit arises from these critiques.
