Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: Features of remote work are highlighted: transition to asynchronous cooperation from different locations; independent distribution of working hours during the day; the main thing is the work itself; combination of work process and entertainment; adjust life to passion; past success does not guarantee future success; intellectual activity; a new level of personal self-discipline, persistence in keeping to the schedule. The latest scientific research on the topic of technological support of productivity in the conditions of remote work is analyzed: tools for communication and collaboration; process automation; time management tools; ensuring cyber security; innovative educational technologies; the influence of emotions on human perception; integration of artificial intelligence into robot technical systems; strategies for integration of production systems; creation of an inclusive working environment; the influence of cultural differences on decision-making; irrational behavior of people in the economy. Effective technological tools for increasing work productivity in remote teams have been identified: video conferences for conducting online meetings; cooperation platforms for organizing work; tools for exchanging files and documents; messengers for quick communication with colleagues in real time; project management tools allow you to create schedules, manage resources, control the budget; tools for time management and identifying inefficient actions, planning the working day, setting deadlines, tracking progress; tools for training and development contribute to the acquisition of new knowledge, individual support, transfer of knowledge, development of skills; ensuring cyber security of computers against malicious software; tools for creating a corporate culture and implementing joint projects to help strengthen team spirit; tools for feedback from employees, making necessary changes. Factors influencing the choice of specific technologies are systematized: company size; type of activity and specifics of work; budget for a technological solution; individual needs, preferences of employees. Technology is a manager's tool, and the success of remote work depends on the result of employee motivation, leadership, company culture, which are determined by: psychological factors (level of self-organization and self-discipline; technological competence in using new tools; susceptibility to stress when working in isolation); social factors (communication and support from colleagues and management; balance between work and personal life; organizational culture); organizational factors (technical support and access to resources; setting goals and objectives; flexibility, adaptation support). Challenges regarding the accurate description of employee motivation during remote work are indicated: multifactorial employee motivation; change of factors over time under the influence of various internal and external factors; individual differences in people's own motives, which can differ significantly. Practical recommendations have been developed based on the conceptual model of motivation (the rate of change of motivation over time; coefficients that reflect the weight of various factors; a set of external incentives that contribute to increasing motivation; the level of social interaction with colleagues; the level of fatigue, burnout; the level of frustration from unresolved problems, shortcomings at work) for companies regarding the selection, implementation and use of technologies that ensure high productivity of remote teams: ensuring an optimal balance between external stimuli, social interaction, rest and elimination of sources of frustration; the use of an individual approach to the motivation of each employee; the need for constant support and adjustment of the level of motivation through regular feedback from employees. Recommended management measures to improve personnel management in international teams based on the Hofstede, GLOBE models: search for new solutions, implementation of changes; study of different cultures, languages, business practices taking into account world trends; training in motivation, leadership and work in international teams; use of digital technologies for process automation, data analysis, decision-making; cooperation with international partners; management of international projects; acceptance of social responsibility; solving environmental problems. The direction for further research is determined: the process of motivation and satisfaction of employees during remote work.
