Year: 2025
Type: article
Study design: Case Report
Abstract: Liddle syndrome is characterized by hypertension, hypokalemia, and metabolic alkalosis. This paper presents the case of a 29-year-old man with Liddle syndrome complicated by stage D heart failure and stage 4 chronic kidney disease. Despite appropriate management, this patient developed refractory cardiogenic shock, ultimately requiring mechanical circulatory support with venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and expedited heart transplant listing.
