Abstract: The integration of information technology in the defense industry covers various aspects, including intelligence data management, military communications systems, and the use of artificial intelligence in strategic decision-making. The objective of this study is to understand the role of information technology integration in enhancing the effectiveness of the defense industry in addressing digital threats, the main challenges faced in implementing cybersecurity in the defense sector, as well as the mitigation strategies and effective national protection strategies against cyberattacks on defense infrastructure. This study employs a qualitative method. The findings indicate that with strong synergy among various stakeholders, the national cybersecurity defense system can become more adaptive, responsive, and capable of effectively countering digital threats.
