Abstract: Recently, on June 4 of this year 2024, the Draft Organic Law for the protection of minors in digital environments was published, with the aim of guaranteeing the rights of minors in the digital field. In this article we will present some of the most relevant measures established by said regulations, finding ourselves before autonomous, repealing and modifying measures, although we will focus on one in particular, the one that modifies the minimum age for giving consent by minors in the processing of their personal data, which goes from 14 to 16 years, carrying out an analysis of it.
