Abstract: The identification of railway carriages in real-time is crucial for modern railway management, enabling automated logistics, monitoring, and tracking systems. Leveraging the steepest descent method, a widely used optimization algorithm, this study outlines a real-time artificial intelligence (AI) system capable of accurately recognizing railway carriage numbers. The proposed system integrates advanced image recognition techniques with error-resilient optimization strategies, ensuring robust performance under real-world conditions such as lighting variability, motion blur, and environmental noise.
