Abstract: Child labor is a serious problem in Indonesia, the increasing number of child laborers every year results in poor quality of human development. Bengkulu Province is one of the provinces with a fairly high poverty rate which tends to encourage an increase in child labor. This study aims to analyze the influence of family socio-economic factors on child labor in Bengkulu Province. The analytical method used is logistic regression with data analysis of the 2022 National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) of Bengkulu Province, with the help of statistical tools in the form of Stata version 17. The results of the study showed that the education of the head of the household, the employment status of the head of the household, and the poverty status of the household influenced the emergence of child labor in Bengkulu Province. Meanwhile, the factors of marital status and the field of work of the head of the household did not affect the emergence of child labor in Bengkulu Province. Therefore, an empowerment program is needed, especially for poor families, so that it can reduce the prevalence of their children being employed.
