Abstract: A comprehensive review of modern foreign and domestic literary sources on real field geophysical research and numerical modeling as applied to the problem of thermometry of multiphase flows in a well is made. The relevance of the chosen research topic is confirmed by the complexity of studying physical fields by geophysical sensors of standard design implementation with multiphase flows in a well. Thus, the readings of local type measuring devices (composition methods, thermometer, flow meter) are greatly influenced by the structure and flow regime. The research picture in this case will often be determined by the geometric position of the device relative to the well axis and the angle of its contact with the well wall. Azimuthally distributed measurement systems can partially solve the above problem, but today they are quite expensive to manufacture and are not so widespread in industry. This allows involving modern tools in the form of numerical modeling for a comprehensive study of multiphase flows in well conditions. In this paper, the formation of a thermal field in a well penetrating a multi-layer deposit of multicomponent hydrocarbons is considered based on numerical modeling. The developed mathematical apparatus of the model for a multi-layer system, in addition to the basic laws of thermo and hydrodynamics taking into account the presence of dissolved gas in oil, additionally includes an equation for the phase slip rate according to the drift flow model. This allows for a quantitative assessment of the effect of the ongoing degassing phenomenon along the wellbore on the temperature field. The results of a comparative comparison of the model thermogram with field data of a thermal study in one of the wells in Western Siberia are presented. High convergence of the results with information on production geophysical studies (PGI) confirms the advantages of the proposed technique for eliminating the main drawbacks that arise when measuring temperature with a local sensor during the formation of multiphase flows. It is shown that the numerical model proposed in the paper allows for a quantitative assessment of the flow parameters of a multiphase flow in a well. The possibility of solving the main range of problems of geophysical control over the development of wells with gasified oil based on the obtained results is noted.
