Abstract: Cholera’s high mortality rate in developing tropical regions, especially in Africa with 90% of cases, underscores the vital importance of comprehensive knowledge for its management and prevention. This study assessed university students’ knowledge, practices, and attitudes towards cholera management in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana. The research utilized a descriptive cross-sectional approach with questionnaires to collect data. Findings show that proper sanitation, use of safe water, and health education are recognized as key preventive measures. A significant majority expressed willingness to seek hospital treatment for cholera and to receive vaccinations. It reveals that while most are aware of cholera and engage in good hygiene practices, gaps exist in their knowledge of the cholera vaccine and its dosages. The study concludes that increasing awareness about the cholera vaccine could further enhance disease management and prevention efforts among students, highlighting the need for health programs that improve knowledge and practices.
