Abstract: The sorption of La (III) ions on silica gel with monoethanolamine fixed on the surface from nitrate and sulfate media has been studied. The influence of the medium pH and the ionic strength of the solution on the sorption process was considered. At pH 6.5–7.5 and temperatures of 296, 303 and 313 K, the kinetic dependences of sorption were investigated and isotherms were plotted. Kinetic and thermodynamic parameters of sorption were calculated.
