Formação continuada sob o olhar dos professores: uma discussão a partir da revisão de literatura

Abstract: The present work aimed to investigate how Basic Education teachers conceive the process of continuing teacher training, identifying their perspectives and challenges. The research was developed from a qualitative and exploratory approach through a literature review of works accessed in the Google Scholar, Scielo and Portal Oasis databases. After the bibliographical survey, 09 (nine) works were selected and analyzed, from which understandings regarding the investigated topic were constructed. Data analysis allowed us to infer that continuing education, although weakened in this country, plays an important role in teacher training and professional development, since the challenges encountered come from the regulations themselves. As a result, we highlight teachers' perception of how continuing education is a fundamental bridge for critical and reflective development and growth, impacting not only in the personal/professional sphere, but throughout school and civil society.
