Abstract: In the first part of the work it was shown that analytical calculations are used by the specialists of design and research departments of the enterprise to conduct comprehensive studies of traction and speed properties and fuel efficiency of wheeled vehicles (WV). The second part presents a review of software for computer modeling of these properties, methods for estimating the route complexity factor, its impact on performance, as well as methods for estimating engine and transmission loading in various road conditions.
