Abstract: ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Journal of Cell Science, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Nikhil More is first author on ‘ Disruption of ER–mitochondria contact sites induces autophagy-dependent loss of P-bodies through the Ca2+-CaMKK2-AMPK pathway’, published in JCS. Nikhil is a PhD student in the lab of Dr Jomon Joseph at the National Centre for Cell Science Complex, University of Pune Campus, Pune, India, investigating the regulation of P-bodies by autophagy.
