Abstract: ABSTRACT Bullying is often thought of as a problem confined to primary and secondary school, yet it continues to impact students even at the university level. This article explores the issue of bullying among university students, discussing the types and effects of bullying specific to this setting, including cyberbullying and identity‐based bullying. In universities, bullying not only affects academic performance and mental health but also impacts the overall campus climate. Despite its prevalence, bullying among university students is often underreported due to stigma, lack of awareness, and ineffective policies. This article examines the current challenges in addressing bullying on university campuses, providing recommendations to promote safer environments. Strategies include developing clear policies, raising awareness, strengthening support systems, and empowering bystanders. By addressing this issue, universities can foster inclusive, respectful environments that support student success and well‐being.
