Abstract: This article analyzes the role of professional consulting as a systemic catalyst for organizational change in the context of growing uncertainty in the business environment. The relevance of the research topic is due to the fact that in the current conditions of global economic turbulence and technological transformation of business, issues of effective management of organizational changes in business entities are of paramount importance. The increasing complexity of the regulatory environment, the acceleration of digitalization, and increasing demands on the adaptability of business processes create fundamentally new challenges for companies in all industries, requiring a rethinking of traditional approaches to organizational development. Professional consulting seems to be the most effective in this aspect. In the article, the author analyzes the main components of economic security; substantiates approaches to understanding the economic security of an economic entity; describes traditional and innovative methods of ensuring the economic security of an economic entity; determines the possibilities for the evolution of professional consulting along with the development of the business environment of economic entities. In the article, the researcher paid special attention to the fact that professional consulting evolves together with the business environment, offering innovative solutions for managing organizational changes in the conditions of growing uncertainty. Consulting companies act as system integrators of advanced practices and innovative solutions, helping organizations adapt to new challenges and threats. The article examines examples of effective cooperation between consulting companies and large Russian businesses, and draws conclusions about the importance of this interaction in the conditions of growing uncertainty in the business environment. The result of the study was the author's conclusion that professional consulting is a specialized type of intellectual activity aimed at system diagnostics, design and implementation of complex solutions for optimizing business processes and managing the risks of economic entities in conditions of high uncertainty of the external environment. It not only helps improve individual business processes, but also serves as a catalyst for systemic changes, influencing the economic environment of the entire economic entity, which, in turn, leads to a more interdependent and integrated process of changes within the company.
