Abstract: English summary Reconstruction of mandibular ridge atrophy with titanium mesh Nor Tannlegeforen Tid. 2025; 135: 212-9. Reduced bone volume is a common issue that must be considered when evaluating implant treatment. The reconstruction of jawbone atrophy with 3D-printed titanium mesh is an advancement in previously used techniques for jawbone reconstruction. A 52-year-old woman was referred to the Department of Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine, Institute of Clinical Dentistry (IKO), University of Oslo (UiO) to seek implant treatment in the posterior atrophic mandible. Reconstruction of the jawbone with titanium mesh and implant installation was performed. The treatment course lasted 14 months, with a total follow-up period of 12 months after implant installation.
