Type: article
Abstract: In today's interconnected world, the process of globalization continues to reshape international relations with unprecedented depth and breadth. The increasing interdependence among nations has deepened, and global issues such as climate change, public health, economic volatility, and cybersecurity have transcended national borders, posing common challenges to all humanity. One prominent issue that highlights this interdependence is climate change. As greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise, the consequences are felt worldwide, from extreme weather events to rising sea levels. This environmental crisis requires collective action and cooperation among nations to mitigate its impact and develop sustainable solutions. Against this backdrop, traditional theories of international relations are being put to the test. The need for a global governance system that is rooted in the concept of symbiosis and mutual prosperity has emerged as an inevitable choice of the times. This article endeavors to explore the new dynamics shaping international relations under this trend, examine the challenges and opportunities that arise in achieving effective global governance, and propose potential pathways towards establishing a harmonious and prosperous system.
