Abstract: Sleman Regency is an area with a relatively large total area of rice fields. Sungai Kuning is one of the rivers that serves as a source of livelihood for the community, particularly for agricultural activities. Sungai Kuning is classified as a disaster-prone area, making it vulnerable to disasters, hence the need for mitigation and spatial planning in the area to reduce the losses incurred. Changes in rice field areas need to be assessed to determine changes in their value for determining future agricultural productivity levels. This study utilizes a quantitative descriptive method with a Secondary Data Analysis approach. The results of the research aim to identify the points where rice fields have changed and determine the rate of growth in the areas under study
