Abstract: The Geography Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University successfully held the 2nd International Conference on Anthropocene, Global Environmental Change and Powerful Geography (ICoAGPG 2024) via the online Zoom system on August 10, 2024. ICoAGPG 2024 aims to disseminate research results and various ideas regarding controlling environmental degradation and climate change for a better life and providing input to the government and other policy-making institutions in environmental management to anticipate climate change. The theme for 2024 is Adapting and Mitigating Climate Change for Sustainable Development. ICoAGPG 2024 invites great speakers who are highly competent in climate change and sustainable development, and they are Prof. Dr. Muhammad Dimyati (Head of Ikatan Geograf Indonesia) and Dr. rer. Nat. Simone Sandholz, M. Eng (United Nations University-Institute for Environment and Human Security, Germany), Cynthia Ratih Susilo (University of Leuven, Belgium), and Dr. Sugiyanto, M.Si., M.Si.
