Abstract: This paper explores the integration of game-based teaching methods and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance functional literacy in private schools in Kazakhstan. Functional literacy, encompassing reading, writing, and comprehension skills, is essential for success in academic and real-world contexts. Traditional teaching methods may fail to engage students or meet their diverse needs. By combining the motivational potential of game-based methods with the adaptability and personalization of AI, educators can create dynamic and effective learning environments. This paper discusses the synergistic role of these innovative approaches in developing functional literacy and provides practical recommendations for private school educators.
