Abstract: This study aimed to illustrate how to exploit George Lakoff and Mark Johnson’s concepts presented in their book “Metaphors We Live By” to teach metaphors to second-year baccalaureate educators in the Humanities department in Morocco. Their perspective on metaphor extends beyond considering it just a literary device to accepting it as a crucial need in all aspects of life that is connected to our everyday thoughts that control human behavior.
