Abstract: The position of the student in today's educational process is significantly influenced by the influence of digital technologies, which can have both positive and negative effects. For students to be able to educate themselves effectively and successfully in today's digital society, there is a need to have knowledge of digital literacy, i.e. the ability to work with digital technologies so that they are not dependent on them, but on the contrary make their lives easier or enable them to have a good standard of living thanks to them. The functioning of the student within the teaching process is also significantly influenced by social networks, which often impact their life values and attitudes towards education.
