Abstract: Using cognitive mediation model, this paper studies how media attention on different platforms influences adolescents' health protection knowledge and ultimately health protection behavior through different information processing strategies. This study adopted the method of questionnaire survey, and finally obtained 281 valid questionnaires. The results show that media attention enhances an individual's knowledge through elaboration and interpersonal interaction. Knowledge acquisition increases health protection behavior. In addition, regression analysis was used to determine that the choice of different media platforms would have a different impact on adolescents' health protection behavior. Finally, the theoretical and practical contributions are discussed.
