Abstract: During the COVID-19 pandemic, ambulatory oncology nurses at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) in New York, New York, changed their patient assessment practices. Medical teams, including medical doctors, advanced practice providers, and RNs, provided remote appointments using digital information and communication technologies in the form of a streamlined telehealth visitation process. Nursing leadership identified a learning gap for nurses navigating the telehealth platform.
