Abstract: Silicones are one of the most important materials, without which it is difficult to imagine human life in the 21st century. Hydrosilylation is widely used to obtain functional silanes and siloxanes. This review summarizes the available data on the kinetics of the interaction of silyl hydrides in the composition of different molecules with various alkenyl substrates under the hydrosilylation reaction conditions.
