Abstract: The article illuminates a Nietzschean understanding of law and the rule of law and its relevance for the legal discourse. Highlighting the various “faces” of Nietzsche’s reflection on law and the rule of law, the author rejects the thesis that his writings are unimportant to the legal theory and argues that the controversial Prussian thinker addresses some of the key legal concepts and explores some of the most fundamental issues of philosophy of law and legal science.
