Cervical ectopic pregnancy: A case report

Year: 2025
Type: article
Study design: Case Report
Abstract: Cervical ectopic pregnancy is a rare but potentially life-threatening condition due to the high risk of hemorrhage. Early diagnosis can allow for conservative management, thus reducing maternal morbidity and mortality. Here we present a case of 33-year-old female who presented with vaginal bleeding and ultrasound findings confirmed a cervical ectopic pregnancy. She was managed conservatively with methotrexate therapy. The purpose of this article is to provide the reader with an example of a clinical presentation of cervical ectopic pregnancy, and a discourse on management of these patients.
