Abstract: Presentation of experimental results of solids volume fraction data measurements in a 12-inch diameter cold flow circulating fluidized bed in relation to a dimensionless fluidization regime map. Statistical and chaotic system analysis results are shown to illustrate differences in hydrodynamic behavior at different operating conditions. Presentation was made at the ASTFE 10th Thermal and Fluids Engineering Conference, March 09-12, 2025.
