Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: Hospitalization of children is a process for planned or emergency reasons that requires the child to stay in hospital to undergo therapy and treatment until being returned home. WHO in 2020 explained that as many as 4% -12% of pediatric patients treated in the United States experienced stress during hospitalization (hospitalization). The morbidity rate in Indonesia alone reaches >45%. This study aims to determine the effect of puzzle play therapy on the level of anxiety in hospitalization of pre-school aged children. This research method is a database search method using Google Scholar which is limited from January 2019 to 2024 for 5 years by reviewing 10 journals. The results found in this literature review still show high levels of anxiety in preschool-aged children.
