Design and implementation of main generator multifunctional ground test device for civil aircraft

Abstract: According to the requirements of CCAR25 for civil aircraft electrical power system ground laboratory airworthiness verification test, the same main generator as the aircraft must be used. This paper designs a multifunctional ground testing device for the main generator to address the functional deficiencies of the main generator in the ground laboratory, providing external oil circulation, operation status monitoring, oil temperature control, and oil injection functions that are missing in the ground laboratory. Detailed design and implementation of the functional modules of the device have been carried out and applied to the ground laboratory airworthiness verification test of the civil aircraft electrical power system. The test shows that the device can meet the functional requirements of the main generator ground test operation.
