This paper delves into the theoretical foundations of human decision-making and their implications for designing user centric XAI systems. Our findings emphasize the importance of aligning XAI features with human reasoning processes to improve decision-making outcomes, ensuring greater transparency, trust, and accountability in AI-driven systems.
