Abstract: Integration of metaverse technology in dentistry is transforming patient treatment, education and professional growth. This investigation examines the awareness, attitude and preparation of dental students and practitioners regarding metaverse applications in their field of work. Hence, 476 participants were asked about their awareness of artificial intelligence, XR, block-chain and digital twins, together with the various advantages and disadvantages of these technologies. While metaverse adoption is widely sought, especially in education and training, questions about cost, privacy and usability still linger. Thus, the need for structured learning programs to maximize the benefits of metaverse technology and raise dental practitioners' digital proficiency is highlighted.
