Abstract: Electronic waste (e-waste) has become one of the fastest-growing waste streams worldwide, posing serious environmental and health hazards due to improper disposal and recycling. This paper examines the significance of sustainable e-waste management by examining various strategies, challenges, and policy frameworks aimed at mitigating the negative impacts of e-waste. The study highlights the environmental risks associated with e-waste, including soil, water, and air pollution, as well as human health issues caused by exposure to toxic substances. Additionally, the role of legislation, innovative recycling technologies, and responsible consumer behavior in promoting sustainable e-waste management is discussed. The findings suggest that a combination of policy enforcement, technological advancements, and increased public awareness is necessary to ensure effective e-waste management and resource recovery. Keywords: E-waste, sustainable waste management, recycling technologies, environmental impact, electronic waste legislation, toxic materials.
