Abstract: Salivary duct carcinoma is a rare, aggressive salivary gland neoplasm that is difficult to diagnose preoperatively. It shows limited clinical resolution of recurrent or metastatic cases after conventional conservative chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy. Here, we present the case of a 42-year-old man with high-grade carcinoma of the salivary gland with morphological and immunohistochemical characteristics consistent with salivary duct carcinoma, along with a succinct literature assessment.
