National Youth Day - preventive health actions for adolescents

Abstract: With the use of legal and illegal drugs and sexually transmitted infections prevalent in adolescence, it was observed that there is need to carry out preventive actions with this population changing from childhood to adulthood. For this reason, the Western Paraná State University`s Pediatrics Medical-Academic League (LIPED) held several interactive lectures with students aged 14 to 18 years old, concerning use of legal and illegal drugs, sexual and reproductive health and entry at the job market. At the end of this experience, people noticed that it is necessary to constantly raise awareness, so that these problems would not be forgotten by generations.
