Deciphering the challenge: rhabdomyolysis diagnosis in food-dependent exercise-induced anaphylaxis

Abstract: Food-dependent exercise-induced allergies are a specific type of food allergy. However, in some cases, allergies may appear along with other diseases. Patients with allergies and concomitant rhabdomyolysis have rarely been reported. Herein, we report a 30-year-old male patient with rhabdomyolysis and no prior history of food-dependent exercise-induced allergy, and discuss our management approach. The aim of this report is to provide new insights into the diagnosis of this condition and assist clinicians in its identification.
