Abstract: The 7th International Conference on Civil and Environmental Engineering (CENVIRON 2024) was successfully held on September 2-3, 2024, at Bertam Resort & Water Park, Penang, Malaysia. Organized by the Faculty of Civil Engineering & Technology, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), the conference provided a hybrid platform for physical and virtual participation, enabling an inclusive exchange of knowledge and fostering collaboration among researchers, academics, and industry professionals. Under the theme “Environmental Innovation: Shaping a Cleaner Tomorrow,” CENVIRON 2024 focused on critical topics aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 13: Climate Action, and SDG 15: Life on Land. These topics, sustainable energy systems, green transportation, geotechnical engineering, waste management, and advanced water and wastewater treatment technologies, highlight the global commitment to addressing environmental challenges while advancing sustainable development. We were privileged to host a diverse group of participants, including researchers from Malaysia and abroad, particularly from Brunei Darussalam and Indonesia, the Rubber Research Institute of Malaysia, and the National Water Research Institute of Malaysia (NAHRIM). The conference was enriched by the keynote address of Professor Mohamed Kheireddine Aroua, whose expertise in water, energy, and environmental sustainability offered groundbreaking insights into shaping sustainable futures.
